Helping Hands of Rockland County

Rockland Friends Meeting joins other houses of worship in Rockland County to support Helping Hands and Safe Haven.  In this program, RFM hosts homeless members of the community in our Meetinghouse for a few evenings throughout fall, winter, and early spring, providing safe and warm refuge.  We welcome them with a wholesome meal, prepared by members of the Meeting.  A member of the Meeting also spends the night at the Meetinghouse as the overnight host.
